The fast food industry arose from the West. With the influences of its operation mode, the Chinese fast food evolved from it. Compared with Western-style fast food, Chinese fast food has many advantages, such as the broader group of targeted customers, a richer number of products varieties, more rational trophic structure, and more affordable prices etc. Since the 1980s when the Chinese fast food industry has its start, with a difficult initial development, the Chinese fast food has primarily made a clear line which according to the Chinese characteristics of the modern fast-food concepts, characteristics and development.At present, Chinese fast food industry has very fierce market competition. Chinese fast food enterprises have to face not only competition within the industry, but also have to deal with the competition from other food and beverage companies. Chinese fast food enterprises are mostly typical labor-intensive service enterprises, which have lower profit margins and a single business model. When numbers of fast food companies have a rise at their business performance, they have strong desire to increase the number of stores. Under the situation of enlarge the enterprises'scale of operating, how to maintain profitability of enterprises and protect the sustainable development of enterprises, business process reengineering has come up to the strategic level of companies.In accordance with a real situation of Chinese fast food enterprise, and combined with business process reengineering theory, this article researched the characteristics of Chinese fast food enterprises business processes, introduced the concept of the internal supply chain of Chinese fast food enterprises, and combined with the empirical study on the supply chain processes of a specific fast food company, so as to get the understanding of the business process framework and the relation between processes. The article also explained the implementation and method of BPR in the researched Chinese fast food company, utilizing activity-based costing to evaluate the effect of business process reengineering in this company.
