| As a basis industry for the national economy,the agricultural industry has been occupied very important position on the development of China's economy.Notably,the development of Special-Agricultural-Product plays a vital role in accelerating economic development of counties in Shanxi Province and in responding to the impacts of registering in WTO on agricultural market.Because of the natural and geographic advantages,there are lots of agricultural products in Shanxi. However,some stable farm products occupying an important position in Shanxi,such as corn,wheat and soybean-based staple crops do not have a competitive advantage in the domestic and foreign markets,and their market share are too low.On the other side,some products such as kidney bean,naked oats,sunflower,walnut have some competitive advantage in domestic and foreign markets,but they are unable to fully play its characteristics due to lower level of deep processing,lower technological content and lagging marketing methods.Therefore,how to develop comparative advantage of the characteristics of the Special-Agricultural-Product in Shanxi and how to achieve their competitive advantage in the marketplace,is very important to enhance the overall competitiveness of agricultural products,adjust the industrial structure,increase the income of farmers and play the regional advantages of Shanxi. Based on the concepts of agricultural products and marketing of agricultural products,the paper defines the basic concepts and basic characteristics of the Special-Agricultural-Product,and concisely outlines the related theories of marketing of the Special-Agricultural-Product. Secondly,by informative data,we give a comprehensive overview and summary of the species,geographical distribution,and the marketing status of the Special-Agricultural-Product,and then we further conduct a comprehensive in-depth analysis of strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and threats of marketing of the Special-Agricultural -Product by SWOT analysis method.Finally,we focus on the development and marketing strategy of the Special-Agricultural-Product industry,and propose some appropriate policy recommendations and marketing strategies. |
