As we all know, Hohhot as the dairy industry capital of China has been taking the very big proportion in production & sales of dairy since last 90s. However, the melamine instance in the 2008 caused so severe negative impact to all the industry including the liquid milk production in Hohhot, although the both main dairy manufactures locate here with strong domestic competitiveness. That indicates there are deficiencies with liquid milk industry of Hohhot. Hence, the main purpose of this thesis is analyzing how to consolidate and uplift competitiveness of liquid milk production in Hohhot.This thesis combines comprehensive analysis and positive analysis, through the research of competitiveness theory, analytic procedure and indicators of the farm produce, to construct domestic competitiveness assessment index system of Hohhot liquid milk produce, to analyze present domestic competitiveness of liquid milk produce of Hohhot, to analyze and evaluate the competitiveness of Hohhot liquid milk produce. This thesis also designs economic paradigm-model analysis of influencing factors, analyzes the factors which effect Hohhot liquid milk produce, then raises strategies for upgrading competitiveness by referring to the Diamond model theory from Michael Porter.
