Application Research On Fractal Clustering Analysis In Customer Segmentation Of Security Market

Customer has become the most important resource for stockjobbers in the market today,and the strategy of customer segmentation is the best base which can get customers.By customer segmentation,enterprises can analyze all of the customers' information from the database on a higher level,and treat different customer clusters in a different way to meet their different demands,which are the significances of customer segmentation.The data mining technology supply a scientific and objective decision support for customer segmentation.Cluster,as an active research project in the area of data mining,has applied to customer segmentation.Compared with other sectors,there is an attribute of the security market which is the nonlinear structure.So it will be more scientific and fit for its character,a nonlinear theory,to combine with the fractal theory in the research of customer segmentation of security market.In this paper,we apply the fractal theory and clustering analysis into customer segmentation of security market.First,we introduce the definition and methods of customer segmentation,and analyze the importance and common methods of customer segmentation for security market.Second,we give a very exposition of the fractal theory,six kinds of common fractal dimension,and the keys to cluster research.Then we propose a new kind of clustering algorithm called grid and fractal dimension based on clustering algorithm(GFDC),which targets big data sets with an attribute of fractal.And the experimental results have proved the feasibility and better performance of this algorithm.Finally,the application of GFDC algorithm in customer segmentation of security market is analyzed from two aspects.According to the steps of data mining,processes of the application are divided into targets design,data preparation,fractal clustering analysis,and results analysis.
