The studied content comes from National Natural Science Foundation Project(grant number:70471045).This thesis studies inventory management of perishable commodities under the Supply Chain Management, which aims to find advertisement investment policy and order policy that maximizes the retailer's profit with time-varying demand influenced by advertisement and inventory level. Five chapters are included in the thesis.In Chapter 1, on the basis of introducing the research background and meaning and the study in the domestic and international, points out the main research contents are the inventory management of the perishable product considering advertisement.In Chapter 2, analysis the characters of inventory management in SCM, and introduce the basic elements and ways of inventory management, research demand influenced by advertisement in the process of sale of the perishable product.In Chapter 3, we consider the effect of advertisement into the perishable products problem. An applied example is showed, then find the effect of different factors to the retailer's optimal profit, provided some feasible ways to reduce risk of sale.In Chapter 4, consider inventory models for the perishable product with demand depends on inventory level and advertisement. Under instantaneous replenishment with zero lead time, the model incorporates aspects such as complete, partial and no backlogging in fixed periods. Three applied examples are showed and compared, the effect of parameters of model on the optimal policy is provided. For sale strategy, give instructional advice in order to maximize the retailer's profit.In Chapter 5, all achievements of the thesis are summed up and pointed out deficiency of this research, and some future directions for this research are suggested.
