This research aims to demonstrate how international institutions influence the domestic institutions of its members. For a long time.scholars prefer to focus on the impact of international institutions on the diplomatic behavior of the countries. They ignore, however, the impact of international institutions on domestic changes of these countries. This essay intends to apply constructivism theory about international institutions(Thomas Risse-Kappen and etc.) to demonstrate the way that an international organization enters into and influences the domestic institutions of a member. With the World Bank as the independent variable and China as the dependent variable, the Theory will be applied to demonstrate China's domestic impact of the World Bank.In addition, this case study will also be used to verify the Theory.
