Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Logistics For Economic Zone On The Western Coast Of The Taiwan Straits

The conception of the Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits puts forward new opportunities and problems to the area.On one hand,with the development of logistics industry,the promotion of the position of Yangtze River delta and Pearl River delta injects new energy into the southeast coast economic development. On the other hand,the key problems are listed as follows:What currently the logistics economic development level is,what competitive advantages and disadvantages are.We should know how to deal with these problems.It evaluates the development of logistics industry of the area from two angles:First with the evaluation of Fujian province in the recent 10 years,it shows that the logistics of the Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits developed in exponential status.After the research on the 21 cities of the area,the conclusion is that the logistics industry development is unbalanced,which constraints the coordinated development inside the Economic Zone.Then we put forward some proposals.Finally using SWOT analysis,we define the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of the Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits.The western side of the strait that the main body is Fujian province connects the Pearl River delta and Yangtze River delta connection,but didn't play its driven role.On one hand,the local logistics infrastructure backwardness makes the logistics cost higher. On the other hand,human resource scarcity and modern logistics concepts backwardness are concerned.But the unique geographical advantages give it unlimited advantages.To further promote the rapid development of logistics system routines,it should strengthen the logistics infrastructure construction and internal connection of the Economic zone,shorten the regional logistics development around the cities.By the collaboration with Yangtze River delta and the city of Pearl River delta,making good use the pivot of the four cities in Jiangxi province,we can construct a stable and fast-growing regional logistics system in Economic Zone on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits.
