In the process of china looking for energy, Africa energy has been favored for high quality, low cost of winning and excellent location. Long relationship between China and Africa has laid a solid foundation for the energy trade. China's African energy policy is based on national interests, supports china enterprise to engage in Africa energy development, enhances coorperation with Africa oil country, provides financial assistance for Africa, engages in Africa energy basis construction, at the same time considers national unity. The policy holds out mutual equality and mutual benefit, without attached political conditions, for economic long-term development of Africa.Defect of the policy lacks consistency, led by administration, short of legislative authority. In the future policy making, china government should learn from European and American policy merit, combine diplomacy practice and improve the policy to ensure energy security.
