Study On Non-performing Assets Securities Of Commercial Banks In China

In the more developed market economy countries, securitization has become an important tool to solve the problem of non-performing assets of banks. Theory research and practice have demonstrated that by means of securitization of non-performing assets disposal, not only can speed up the progress of non-performing assets disposal, improve efficiency, but also can promote financial innovation, enrich financial products, and accelerate the further development of capital markets. In view of this, China should learn from successful experience of the securitization of non-performing assets to make up for the lack of disposal mode, according to real situation, to explore a method of securitization of non-performing assets that fit the nation's circumstances.In this thesis, summed up the practices of United State's, Japan's and South Korea's non-performing assets securitization, and their creation attempt, combined with the analysis of China's commercial banks dispose of bad assets, as well as the status quo, a profound research of non-performing assets of China's commercial banks and the national economy against the impact was conduct. After the analysis of both China's internal and external financial environment for non-performing assets securitization, expounded the necessity and feasibility for China's commercial banks non-performing assets securitization.Then summarize a general non-performing assets securitization process, combined with the related theory of the securities of non-performing assets, use ICBC Ningbo branch as an example, the existing methods risk analysis was conducted from the transaction structure of the securities, then proposed some corresponding method against those issues. Followed by a study on the non-performing assets securitization of a commercial bank branch based on the lessons learned and recommendations made by former discuss. Then, discussed the core issue of securitization of non-performing assets ---- the determination of pools of assets and transactions structure in securities of non-performing assets, and furthered the research through a case study. Then countermeasures and suggestions were given for the implementation of securitization of non-performing assets in China, on the bases of the analysis of the obstacles we faced and the learning from the experiences of developed countries. At last, summed up the work, review the analysis and find inadequate points, then outlook the future study and finished the thesis.
