The Analysis Of Mutual Promotion Mechanisms Between Enterprises Migration And Urbanization

It is well known that now China is in economy developing and system transformation period. Meanwhile, the enterprises are also going through great adjustment of capital orientation, form of industry organization and management mode. Under these circumstances, domestic enterprises migration became active since 90s of last century. Especially in recent years, as the globalization of economy, the development of information technology and the widening of city space, MNCs and domestic enterprises are moving their headquarters, R&D departments or regional headquarters to central cities, which has caused a great change in city space layout. On the other hand, the governments of some central cities make a lot of preferential policies to attract the enterprises' immigrating, which somehow caused vicious competition.This kind of migration is the result of urbanization, economy transformation and self-development of enterprises. It is also a kind of relocation for the sake of economies of scale and the share of public goods. The migration brings the labors and capitals accumulation, which shows as the development of cities' scale. This, on the other hand, lower the distribution cost and become a pull for enterprises' migration. Therefore, we hope to study the reasons and the influence of this migration by its expanding pattern and path.On the base of analysis on recent circumstances and predecessors' theories, we first introduce the basic theories of enterprises' migration and urbanization. Then put the emphases on the study in mutual promotion relations between them. On one hand, the motivation and effectiveness of enterprises' migration accelerate the speed of urbanization. On the other hand, the externality on urbanization attracts the enterprises' migration. Then we give the advice on the base of study on respectively benefit of enterprise and government before model analysis. Finally, we carry out applied analysis by Hangzhou's example for further study. With the discussion of present situations and existing problems, we put forth the suggestions of promoting the rapid and sound development of headquarters economy in Hangzhou with overcoming the ineffectiveness of policy and external condition, exerting the suggestions in developing headquarters economy.
