With the continuous development of the global economy and global economic integration continues to progress, logistics, as a newly- born industry is considered a "third profit source," which have been accepted and valued by more and more enterprises.Presently, logistics in China is developing rapidly, and research in logistics field also continues to develop, the importance of logistics in the development of society and enterprise has been raised to a new location, also strengthening logistics management and controlling logistics costs has become an important factor for impacting the viability and competitiveness of business. In this paper, basing on the previous studies, and combining activity-based costing method and Witness simulation software, taking distribution center, s logistics system of Company S as an example, building simulation model, putting forward optimized program to optimize resources allocation, improve operational efficiency of the system, lower operational cost.In this thesis, firstly, reviewing the status of development and research on Activity-based costing and logistics system simulation, analyzing advantage of these two methods for each, then according to the relevant data of Company S to build simulation model, analyzing the data obtained from model- running results, finding out the bottleneck which influences the system-running results and aspect of the waste of idle resources, adjusting the personals and machines in the aspect. With newly-adjusted data, re-running and re-analyzing repeatedly until finding an acceptable model to both reduce the cost of the distribution-loading center and improve the operating efficiency of the entire system model.
