A Comparative Study On Tourism Competitiveness Of Xin Jiang City

Urban Tourism has been a pivotal position in the development of our country, the resistant centers of modern tourism are city,the tourism of national competition and regional competition are able to realize through the urban competitiveness, the nucleus problem of urban tourism development is how to enhance tourism competitiveness. the study of urban tourism competitiveness can be in accordance with its own advantages and disadvantages to choose the direction and mode of development, enhance the competitiveness of the urban tourism is good to promote the tourism industry rapid development, and is good to promote the city, and even the region's overall competitiveness,and give play to the competitive advantages of tourism, to promote the socio-economic prosperity and development ultimately .XinJiang has been abundant in tourism resources, however, XinJiang has not change the resources in comparative advantages into competitive advantages, especially in the aspect of urban tourism, tourism in XinJiang has been obvious gap with other province. Therefore, how to make full use of resources,to strengthen city tourism function,to excavate development potential,to coordinate development of urban tourism,enhance the overall urban tourism competitiveness of XinJiang, is the current XinJiang city tourism industry needed to thinking and demanding prompt solution problems.By combining the knowledge of urban geography,regional economics as well as other related fields of study and employing them into greatest play,this paper select the XinJiang city of tourism revenues 4,000 million to makes a study on 15 cities of tourism competitiveness.in the study, based on the certain principles and combinated the of XinJiang practical to construct the evaluation index system of urban tourism competitiveness, first of all, by the use of the Principal Component Analysis to evaluate the tourism competitiveness of 15 cities, secondly,by the use of Hierarchical Cluster Procedures classify analysis of XinJiang urban tourism competitiveness , finally, based on the evaluation of the results to put forward to improve the competitiveness of urban tourism in XinJiang's overall response, as well as the improveing countermeasures of various types urban.
