Process Management Study Of Small IT Firms Based On Data Information

With its rapid development, information technology and information systems have been deeply involved in all aspects of businesses and enterprises, playing an important role in management. As one of the promoters of information technology and information system, small IT firms take up a considerable proportion in the application and popularization of it. However, the application of information system designed for the producing process of small IT firms is not satisfying.This paper analyzed the data structure of the process management of a small IT firm from the perspectives of data management, project management and business process management, incorporating the above three into a informational management system based on all data of the firm and establishing the data model of process management by collecting, analyzing and optimizing the digital process information. By exploring the informational management of producing process of small IT firms, this paper enabling them control and integrate all the information of production and operation activities and enjoy competitive edge by sharing and effectively application information within and outside the company in a broad scale and larger extent.This paper discussed the process management framework of small IT firms , found out the three major influencing factors, modified the data model, designed the information management platform with the help of software development tool with open source code and finally built a close to actual informational management system based on data from the company. The platform integrated the firm's customer information, product design, producing process management, project implement, purchase management, entrusted project management, capital control, financial system, human resource, collaborative office, distribution channels, e-commerce, system security into clear and controllable modularized process units, from which we can conveniently obtain product management data from product design, producing process management, purchase management and entrusted project management, project data from project implement and capital control, process management data from capital control, human resources, collaborative office and e-commerce. Enterprise managers could easily obtain the data on the pivotal points of the whole process, refrain from waste and low efficiency through scientific decision making according to the Statistics data analysis, thus solving the problem of personnel shortage, low efficiency and waste. They could also preset the staff arrangement and resource assignment, predict the overall profit potential and financial situation with the aid of informational management system based on enterprise data.This paper verified the data drawn from operation of informational management data model and informational management system of small IT firms' process management. Through the comparison between before and after the application of the platform, the information data model of the process management of small IT firms proved to be in accordance with the actual situation.One of the innovations of this paper is that it established the process management data model composed of product data, project data and process management data for small IT firms, introduced the concept of "data management of enterprise operation process" according to the characteristics of small IT firms and modified the process management model based on the major procedures and tasks of process management. It established close to actual management data model and practical information management platform. Another innovation is that the collaborative information management platform based on workflow could conveniently verify the rationality and practicability of the process management data model of small IT firms.
