The 21st century is the era of knowledge-based economy, and innovation is the theme of the 21st century. For most businesses, innovation is a critical factor to obtain and maintain competitive edge. If you do not have the ability to innovate and other competitors have the ability to innovate, it must result in failure.Innovation is the most critical factor to decide the organization's suvival, especilly in the increasing competition circumstances. If the enterprise lacks of the necessary investment to learning and innovation, it may result in that it can not keep up with the pace of scientific and technological development, thus making it difficult to meet customer needs, finally, enterpris loses its competitive edge. As the basic unit of the company, especially enterprise sci-tech talent, the intention of theirs innovation is essential for the development of enterprises. However, the studying on the intention of the sci-tech talent is relatively scarce, therefore, expliciting the connotation of innovation and revealing the affecting factors of the innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talent has very important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of planned behavior, combining with technological innovation theory, motivation theory and the relevant theories on the individual characteristics of the innovators, this research wants to explore the affecting factors of innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talent.This research is divided into the following three steps: firstly, literature review. Based on the literature review, I want to present the research model and related research hypotheses of innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talent; secondly, questionnaire survey. Through the interviews and revising the mature questionnaires, I send out the questionnaires to the enterprise sci-tech talent; finally, statistical analysis. Based on the valid sample of 254 enterprise sci-tech talents, I use SPSS16.0 statistical software to validate the research model and related research hypotheses.The dissertation mainly draws the following conclusions:1,The motivation of enterprise sci-tech talents has two sides: internal motivation and external motivation. The intrinsic motivation includes challenge and enjoyment; while the external motivation contains outward and compensation. Based on challenge of internal motivation and enjoyment of the internal motivation have significant positive influence on the innovation attitude and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents, while based on outward of external motivation and compensation of external motivation have no significant positive influence on the innovation attitude and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents.2,According to the conclusions of TPB model, innovation attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control have have significant positive influence on the innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents. Innovation attitude plays an intermediary role during the process of the challenge of internal motivation and the enjoyment of internal motivation impacts on innovation intention.3,The cognitive style of enterprise sci-tech talents has two types: system-based cognitive style and intuition-based cognitive style. Intuition-based cognitive style have significant positive influence on the innovation attitude and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents, while system-based cognitive style have no significant positive influence on the innovation attitude and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents. System-based Cognitive Style will regulate the relationship between the subjective norms and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents. Intuition-based cognitive style will regulate the relationship between the innovation attitude and innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents.4,Besides the education have significant positive influence on the innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talents, other control variables have no significant positive influence on the innovation intention of enterprise sci-tech talentsFinally, I discussed the conclusions of this research and point out the management recommendations, research limitations and future prospects.
