Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the processing and handling of emotional information and the ability to solve emotional problems. It plays the role of individual perception and experience, express and evaluate, regulation and control to oneself and others in organizational environment in a variety of emotions to oneself. The study of El to members of the organization in the field of organizational behavior has become a hot issue in recetent year.With the increase of the number of graduate students, some graduates rush job, thus the phenomenon of newly recruited staff become job-hoppers in a few years of their career. This has brought varying degrees of negative effects to their own, enterprise and schools, which led to people's re-thinking of emotional intelligence in organizational socialization process.This study focused on organizational socialization, based on a great deal of literature and datum. This study defines previous working years as the occupation adaptation period of graduate employees, takes El as the core variable, and explores the relationship between El and individual performance, explores the control response of self-efficacy between them. Propose the method of improving employee El from various angles, and thus achieve the purpose of improving the organization's overall performance.This study is divided into three parts:the first part presents the summarize and comment on past El and related documents, and propose the idea of this study model and related research assumptions on this based, preparate the questionnaire of occupational adaptation period students staff's El. The second part, use the questionnaires measures the El and job performance of occupational adaptation period students staff; compares different demographic variables of the difference between El of occupational adaptation period students staff; discuss the relationship between El and its structural elements with job performance and its structural of adaptation period students staff. The third part, proposes the method of raising the El of occupational adaptation period students staff and and thus dish the management proposals to improve the overall performance.The main conclusions of this study:Firstly, the content of the El structure of occupational adaptation period students staff consists of five dimensions:others' emotional management, emotional management of self, emotional evaluation to others, regulation of self-emotion and emotional utilization. Secondly, different demographic variables of occupational adaptation period students staff and their various dimensions of El are different. In which different working hours, the nature of different enterprises, different types of occupational adaptation period students staff have significant differences in dimensions.Thirdly, the overall El and overall job performance was significant positive correlation; In addition to others'emotional management had no significant correlation with task performance, emotional utilization and task performance was not significant, other dimensions of El were significantly positively correlated with overall job performance and its dimensions. Fouthly, verify the control response of self-efficacy, it was the control response between occupational adaptation period students staff's El and work performance. However, this regulation is less important.Finally, this study raised the management proposals of improving the occupational adaptation period students staff's El. Respectively, from individuals, enterprises and universities to improve students staff's El and thus improve their job performance.
