The Analysis On The Income Gap Between Different Industries In Beijing

With the increasing deepening of reform and financial crisis in economy, the gap of income between different industries and groups in Beijing shows a trend of further expansion which attracts the attention of the society, and brings bad effect on the development of industry and the economy, ideas of selecting a career, conduct and stability of society. At present, among different theorists, the investigation of industry income is mainly on descriptive and qualitative analysis, and we are still devoid of quantificational research to reflect the real gaps among different industries, especially lacking the systematic positive analysis of economic growth affect and reasons of the gap. This paper is trying to do something in these parts.Firstly, due to the highest and lowest industry income, the Chinese industry income change of historical trace during 1998 to 2007 is arranged. This paper uses data from China Statistical Yearbook 2008, China Labor Statistical Yearbook 2008 and Beijing Statistical Yearbook 2008, counting tables and graphs in 2007 of Beijing. The paper gives several reasons which influence the income of different industries in Beijing. The paper combine 19 industries into 17 industries in order to use regression analysis in econometrics. The paper also uses the income data of American higher education in 2008 as an example, to analysis how Beijing could improve its own income system. Due to investigation, the paper's convinced analysis points out that human capital, divergence of industry labor productivity and the amount of the capital in industry are the main factors which make the difference of industry income and influence the industry income actively. Considering the revenue caused by the monopolization, the gap of income between different industries caused by the monopolization is also very huge. Therefore improving the industry level of human capital, improving labor productivity level of the industry, restricting the monopolization are the very means to standardized pay system and construct the harmonious capital of socialism.
