Facing the global competition how to rapidly leverage the competition advantage the informationization level has been one of critical weapon to build up the core competence of enterprise. However, under the pressure from the timing concern how to effectively manage IT resources to provide service to other divisions within the enterprise has been always an unresolved pending issue. As the result of this the desire to implement the information technology service management becomes fashion subject. Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) is a process driven and customer centralized methodology. Through the business process standardization ITSM inosculate with IT division operation. Moreover ITSM drives IT division toward more service oriented to the users inside or outside of the company. The purpose of implements ITSM in the enterprise is to exalt company image and service level. But how to efficiently and effectively implement the ITSM in the enterprise is the hotspot question.This study is to utilize X bank as a target for implementing ITSM. First of all valuate the current information technology architecture and configuration. Secondly analyze the practical approach to implement ITSM. And finally summarize the detailed implementation process for X bank as reference in future when once X bank feels the necessity of ITSM. Through evaluating the current IT architecture and configuration, this study draws five points conclusion:(1) the priority of the implementation ITIL according the extent impact from the current IT architecture; (2) provide the training to corresponding people; (3) to build up the CMDB; (4) to form a professional project team; (5) get the support from stakeholders. Besides, this study suggests seven guidelines to guarantee the success implementation ITSM for X bank in the future.
