Finance is the core of modern economy, banking is an important part of the financial sector, under the conditions of market economy, credit risk is increasingly becoming the main source of financial risk generated. Credit risk is the direct cause of the global financial crisis. However, China's commercial banks due to their own management system deficiencies and external constraints, still facing enormous credit risk. In the global financial crisis, study of China's commercial banks credit risk management is necessary. By learning from the experiences of the crisis, to improve and enhance our bank's credit risk management, achieve the purpose of preventing and managing credit risk.This topic discusses how to improve commercial banks'credit risk management, and proposes some practical methods. This paper's structure as follows: Chapter 1 is an introduction to introduce background and significance of topics, international and domestic literature review as well as innovative ideas; The second chapter discusses the relationship between financial crisis and credit risk, and defines some basic concepts; Chapter 3 reviews the development stage of the commercial bank's credit risk management theory; Chapter 4 summaries the status quos and deficiencies of our commercial banks credit risk management; Chapter 5 based on the first four chapters make some suggestions for our commercial banks credit risk management.This paper starts from the relationship between financial crisis and credit risk, points out that the essence of the global financial crisis is credit risk. Give some suggestions for our commercial banks credit risk management, mainly about how to improve the credit derivatives market and how to strength housing credit risks management in China.
