Research On The Applications Of Overseas Hedge Fund Investment Strategy In China Stock Market

With the economic environment changes and the development of financial markets, investors'demands have become diversifying. Then the hedge fund industry comes into being and gradually develops to meet the preferences of different investors. Hedge funds use different financial instruments and a variety of investment strategies to build portfolios with various styles to gain investment returns. This paper aims to study on the application of overseas hedge fund investment strategy in China stock market based on the qualitative and quantitative methods to provide references to domestic institutional investors and individual investors. In addition, this paper aims to study if the overseas hedge fund strategies are applied in China, how the domestic capital markets need to be improved. First, this paper described the basic theory of hedge funds and-examines the status of overseas hedge fund industry. Second, the paper studies the investment strategies adopted by overseas hedge funds from a number of aspects. Third, combined with the studies of the overseas hedge fund industry, the paper analyzes the feasibility of investment strategies of overseas hedge funds in the in China stock market. Finally, the paper proposes limitations the investors will meet and the conditions need to be created when the investors put investment strategies of overseas hedge funds into use in China stock market.
