This article mainly studies on the relation of Psychological Empowerment and Job Satisfaction, whether Supervisory Commitment plays a role as moderator or not. On the basis of the literature review, the assumptions are made as following. Psychological Empowerment can significantly predict Job Satisfaction, and Supervisory Commitment in the relations played a role as moderator. The article use Thomas and Velthouse's(1990) four-dimensional conceptualization of Psychological Empowerment, which is meaning, self-efficacy, self-determination-and impact. To Supervisory Commitment, Zhenxiong Chen et al (2002) include five components:dedication to supervisor, extra effort for supervisor, attachment to supervisor, identification with supervisor, internalization of supervisor's values. And to Job Satisfaction, there is components:three extrinsic satisfaction, intrinsic satisfaction and general satisfaction. The three questionnaires have been widely accepted in the literature. There are Spreitzer's (1995) questionnaires of Psychological Empowerment, Zhenxiong Chen et al's (2002) questionnaires of Supervisory Commitment and MSQ short form. There are two tests:pre-test and official test.50 valid questionnaires were collected for revising questionnaires in the pre-test and 400 valid questionnaires were collected for the further analysis in the official test.By regression analysis, the conclusion is found that the Psychological Empowerment can significantly predict Job Satisfaction, except that impact is not significantly related to intrinsic satisfaction and self-efficacy is not significantly related to general satisfaction. The result is also get that moderating roles of extra effort for supervisor, identification with supervisor and internalization of supervisor's values are significant negative in some paths. The last is analysis conclusions, summary deficiencies and looking into the future researches. I hope the study will help the enterprise human resource management.
