The Historical Evolution Of Capital Form

Capital form has always been the focus of the Marxist theory,The viewpoint of Marx on the nature of capital,the historic of capital is the premise that how to have a correct view to the historical evolution of capital form. The representation of contemporary capital and the duplicate effect of capital require us that not only have a correct view to the direction of development of contemporary capital,but also have a correct view to treat the negative effects of capital,and give a reasonable historical location to capital in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.The nature of capital is gaining the maximum value,obtaining the general value,the general wealth. As capital form,the relation of capital has a specific manifestation mode in certain social and historical conditions. It is the specific way that capital realizes its nature. In different historical conditions,the capital's running mode,conditions,existing fields,specific means of obtaining value and so on are different,these differences indicate the historical changes of capital form. Due to the intrinsic and inherent contradiction,capital has been encountering unavoidable crisis or boundaries in each historical developing stage,and has to shift mode of existence,enter a new historical period of development. From the machine industry,the special manifestation mode has experienced three stages and three shift,three stages include the capital form in Marx's era,the capital form in Lenin's era and the capital form after the Second World War . There are three shifts .First, in Marx's era,the form of capital mainly lies in free competition and industrial production to meet the domestic market. Secondly,in Lenin's era,capital form mainly lies in heavy industry production concentration,financial monopoly,the colonial trade and the world market partitioned .Thirdly,the post-war capital form mainly lies in the borning of high-tech industries,transnational investment,diversification fields of capital existing,dematerialization of capital developing,and global financial capital in high flowing,etc. In the three historical stages,the development of capital form is relating,but the expression has obvious difference. As social existence,capital includes the essence of capital and the historical capital form,this two aspects are unified.To realize its own nature,the contemporary capital has penetrated into the various fields in the process of social existence. Meanwhile,with an unprecedented speed to the global expansion,it is a process of economic globalization and integration,although capital creats enormous productivity,improves the level of human activities,but on the other hand,it has triggered global negative problems, various risks emerge in endlessly,human existence is facing with profound crises. This is the form of contemporary capitalism dual performance. China can't develop in isolation in the world. We use capital and develop capital in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Our purpose is to develop productivity,but this does not equal to capital value goal,and adhering to the negative effects of capital,we must carries on the reasonable control and adjustment.
