Abstract/Summary:
With the deterioration of ecological environment in recent years, enterprises'development has caused a series of social problems, and more and more people are starting to pay their attention to Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR). Will the social responsibilities bring negative or positive effect on an enterprise's benefits and financial results? This paper discusses about the relationship between CSR and its Financial Performance.This paper summarizes the recent researches on CSR. On the basis of reviewing the stakeholder theory, the author divides the stakeholder into two groups: directly-related stakeholder and indirectly-related stakeholder, which has formed the basis for the Empirical Research of the relationship between CSR and its Financial Performance. Domestic scholars who reseach from this point of view are very few.The author briefly analyzes the relationship between CSR and its Financial Performance and in what means do the CSR affect Financial Performance. Proposes the hypothesis based on this study. Then the author analyzes a total of 848 financial data in 2007&2008 two years of a Shanghai-listed company's with SPSS software to prove the positive correlation between CSR and its Financial Performance, which is basically the author's theoretical hypothesis.
