| With the innovation of banking financial institutions, credit card business develops, and the types of credit cards increase. Credit card as a new payment means in our country, which is reflecting the perfect combination of modern information technology and the traditional financial services ,and it has gradually penetrated into all aspects of social and economic life. However, due to the legislation and related systems lag, rights of credit card consumers are frequently violated. This article is about to promote the credit card industry , based on the protection of the rights of credit cards consumers, making efforts to explore ways to improve and refine our credit card consumer protection system by the ways of comparative analysis, historical analysis, critical analysis and others .In order to build a complete system to protect credit card consumer rights, this paper mainly base on five aspects:Firstly, the theoretical analysis on the protection of credit card consumer rights .It is introduced the definition and the characteristics of credit card consumer. The ordinary consumers and credit card consumers were compared,and told that why needs for special protection . It also shows the foreign theoretical basis .Secondly, it is a summary analysis of the status of credit card consumer protection. Introduces the system of credit card consumer rights as well as from banks, consumers, legislative, regulatory, industry self-regulation. It is highlighted the lack of legislation and regulation and the lack of industry self-regulation system.Thirdly, Comprehensive summary and analysis of China's credit card has the basic rights of consumers. China's credit card customers have the nine basic rights, and because of closely related to credit, credit card customers owe the rights of credit customers.Fourthly it is introduced the experiences of foreign credit card consumers protection. This part provides a reference of foreign countries mainly from the legislative system, monitoring system, industry self-regulation system.Sixthly, providing relevant recommendations on improving China's consumer rights protection. Entity does not necessarily give the right to be realized. Therefore, this part is to realize the rights of credit card consumers. It is started from three aspects: Legislation, regulatory, industry self-regulation. |
