The dissertation makes a comparison between successful deposit insurance system aboard and obtain some experience from these. Moreover, the development trends and features of international deposit insurance system have been concluded so as to get revelation to China. From the actual background of commercial banks in China, the dissertation analyzes the necessity and feasibility of establishment of deposit insurance system in China and constructs the detail mode of deposit insurance system, which refers to the targets, function, organizations establishment, insurance arrangement and insurance ratemaking of the deposit insurance system. Finally, the dissertation gives some theoretical supports and political suggestions for the establishment and selection of detail mode of the deposit insurance system.
