The Study On Regional Business Operation Of Chinese City Commercial Banks Based On SWOT Analysis Method

As the competition become fiercer and fiercer in banking industry and the bank services and products customers required become more and more diverse, the disadvantages of the city bank operate within a single city highlight. Ever since their foundation, they are limited to operate in the own city. Now this regulation is the main obstacle of their development. The city banks living in the crack plan to expand the territory. Known as the second revolution, the regional business operation of city commercial bank begins to promote in full swing.This paper includes five parts as followed:The first part includes the background, the thoughts, the techniques and the structure of the paper.The second part reviews the background of the establishment of the city commercial bank and the development of them, defines the regional business operation of city commercial bank, summarizes the current situation and the existing modes of regional business operation of them.During the third parts, this paper analyses it by the SWOT analysis method and on the basis of it point out the necessity and the feasibility of the regional business operation.The fourth part proposes some strategies to different city commercial banks, and. some concrete measures to promote the regional business operation of city commercial banks based on the SWOT analysis mention in the third part.In the last parts, I give three city commercial banks in different modes of regional business operation. They are developing well either in finance or operation proving that regional business operation is one of the good ways to flourish the city commercial bank.The main contributions of this paper include analyzing the city commercial bank by SWOT measure, pointing out the necessity and the feasibility of the regional business operation and proposing some strategies to different city commercial banks, and some concrete measures to promote the regional business operation of city commercial bank based on the SWOT analysis. I expect to give some advises to the operation of the city commercial banks.
