Utilization Study On Eco-tourism Resources In Shanxi Province

The average growth rate of the world's eco-tourism income has reached 20%-30%.Now, it maintains a rapid growth. According to the data published by the World Eco-tourism Conference held in Brazil in 2005, the world's annual output of eco-tourism reached 20 billion dollars, accounting for almost 20% of all international tourism revenues. The development of eco-tourism can promote the sustainable development of tourism, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the entire human society. As the World Tourism Organization in 2002 made it: "Eco-tourism: key to sustainable development."Shanxi Province is located in the Loess Plateau, due to poor ecological environment, resulting in the vicious cycle of "poverty - cultivation - poverty," Shanxi socio-economic development is slow. To solve these problems, it is necessary to take into account technical factors, but also take into account the environmental protection, economic development and social harmony and stability. Eco-tourism is a good choice. In addition, the Shanxi eco-tourism theoretical research provided a reference to the same type of eco-tourism practice carried out.The paper evaluates quantitatively the eco-tourism resources in Shanxi Province by using analytic hierarchy process method, based on scientific analysis of eco-tourism resources in Shanxi and absorbing the experience of the experts and researchers, according to the classification and grading system of eco-tourism resources. The Shanxi Province eco-tourism resources are divided into six districts. This paper identifies the specific mode of eco-tourism development. Finally, the countermeasures of development are proposed.
