The Development On Processing Trade In Guangdong Province

Guangdong Province is a major economic province, but also a trading province, its economic take-off due to great efforts to develop processing trade. The progressive development of the processing trade industry in China is started with the reform and opening up of economic, and its further acceleration in the new century is through the pportunity of China's accession to the WTO. Guangdong is a province apparent in export-oriented economic characteristics, the development of processing trade industries contribute significantly to the prosperity of economic in this province. Processing trade is playing an important role in Guangdong in many ways such as promoting economic growth,improve production efficiency, improve the industrial structure, increase capital accumulation, knowledge advancement and raise employment levels. The aim of this study is find a comprehensive and workable program for the sustainable development of processing trade in Guangdong Province. So we could help the processing trade in Guangdong Province shake off the impact of financial crisis,and it could make a greater contribution to the prosperity of the economic of Guangdong province.Based on trade theory and economic growth theory, with the use of qualitative and quantitative, normative and empirical analysis methods, combined with the historical background of Guangdong Province, this paper has an in-depth study of the development of processing trade in Guangdong Province. Firstly, with the the introduction of traditional trade theory, new trade theory and the economic growth theory , the article lays a theoretical basis for sustainable development.ofr the systematic analysis of the processing trade in Guangdong Province. Secondly, this paper focused on the status and characteristics of processing trade in Guangdong Province, and shows its role in promoting economic growth in Guangdong Province through empirical analysis. Thirdly, the paper has a research on the efforts as well as challenges which are faced by processing trade in Guangdong Province in the process of its development. At last, as a starting point for promote the sustainable development of the processing trade in Guangdong Province, and combined with the various constraints, the author targeted a series of policy recommendations.With the basis of existing research results of our predecessors and based on the reality of Guangdong Province, this paper mainly has two innovative explorations as follows: Firstly, introduces the background of financial crisis on the base of previous studies which has a strong research frontier; secondly, it introduces a new co-integration analysis techniques to make the empirical results more persuasive and robustness. The paper also has some inadequates: Firstly, the depth of the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis are both not enough because of the insufficient information and data; secondly, the theoretical which this article is based on is relates to many fields, and obviously there are some inadequates in the author's ability to use knowledge of these fields, which is subject to the restrictions on knowledge and research methods of her, and these inadequates need to be improved in the future research work.
