With the accelerating of the process of economic globalization, the effect of technological innovation is increasingly obvious in the fierce international competition. The import and export of high-tech products have an ever larger market share of world's high-tech products trade and becomes an important indication to measure the level of technology development and the ablity of obtaining long-term interests.Since the implementation of the strategy of invigorating trade though science in 1999,the import and export of high-tech products have been showing a tendency of growing fast all the time,it has become a strong impetus to our economic growth.NBTT has been thought as an importmant indicator to measure the gains from trade,it reflects the exchange ratio in the international trade. Therefore, this article makes research on the NBTT of high-tech products.First, this paper analyses the situation of import & export and the NBTT of high-tech products,it calculates NBTT of our country's high-tech products from 1998 to 2009 using Passche price index. Then,we analyse in theory how economic growth, foreign direct investment, foreign exchange rate and tax influence NBTT. In empirical research, this paper used OLS regression analysis, cointegration test,Granger causality test and other econometric methods to study NBTT of China's high-tech products. In ordet to make sure that whether those variables are stable,we used ADF test. Then this paper is to find whether there is a long-term stable relationship between the various factors and NBTT through co-integration test. This paper also used the Granger test to analyze whether there are causalities between various factors and NBTT of China's high-tech products. Finally, based on NBTT of our country's high-tech products, this paper puts forward some relevant suggestions.
