This text mainly aims at the technique of GPS in mountain area of surveys in the petroleum seismic exploration, according to the example of the engineering of the applied GPS, introducing the applied new progress of technique of GPS. These projects include three-dimensional data collection with seismic exploration at the region of Bazhong at 2006, two-dimensional big section data collection with seismic exploration at the region of the Nan pan river-middle Guangxi at 2007, three-dimensional data collection with seismic exploration at the region of Jiannan-Longju at 2007. In this paper, through the GPS static position measurement in control survey and staking of physical points with applied RTK technique, from GPS network planning, the data processing, accuracy assessed the method, to quantity control etc. elaborated to raise the survey accuracy and carried on the quantity control effectively. The aim is in the utmost exertive technique of GPS survey in mountain area.This text includes six chapters, main body at the 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th. The 1st chapter is an introduction, the chapter 6th is conclusions and outlooks. The chapter 1st is a brief introduction, including the present condition of the domestic and international applied GPS, the mission, contents and requests of surveys in the petroleum seismic exploration, the purpose and meanings of the thesis. The 6th Chapter makes a summary of the article, also pointed out the shortage, and prospected the foreground of GPS technique in the petroleum seismic exploration in the mountain area.The 2nd Chapter, studies mainly GPS control net in the petroleum seismic exploration in the mountain area so as to optimize it. Firstly, introduce the characteristics of control the net, then detailed analysis how to optimize, include full preparation work, good benchmark design, the form of net design and project plan.The 3rd Chapter mainly studies the data processing of the control net. First, the text elaborates the baseline processing, from the principle and types to the step of the baseline solution using software, give detailed method. The software, which combines manual work, is important. The manual work includes deleting the star, deleting the period of time and the unqualified baseline. This chapter uses several area static positioning data for the example, rehandles the data, including free net adjustment and fully constrained adjustment, computes the coordinates transformation parameters, get to compare good of result, gets better result.The 4th chapter mainly analyzes the source of error and the method of quality control about GPS network. This chapter analyzes the error from GPS measurement, through carrier phase observation equation. These error include 4 parts, have something to do with satellite, spread, survey and the receiver equipments. These error pass many set dual-frequency GPS receivers synchronous surveying, can weaken or remove. The data processing can pass the reasonable choice processing parameter of the software and artificial intervention to carry on the quantity control effectively. This chapter still contrasts the processing result of the past, analyzes and gives a conclusion.The contents of chapter 5th are geophysical points stake out with GPS RTK in mountain area of surveys in the petroleum seismic exploration. This chapter studies and analyzes the example, from the principle and systems of the GPS RTK positioning to the position and setup of reference station, the setup and working mode of roving station and relay station. Finally, this chapter points out the difficult point from geophysical points stake out with GPS RTK.Finally, The paper introduces briefly the portable GPS in mountain area of surveys in the petroleum seismic exploration. In recent years, portable GPS holds the wide application, mainly includes exploration at the work area, navigation of the vehicle and the design newly while fall across the stumbling block.
