In recent years, chaos control has attracted more and more attention in academic research and practical applications. Some control methods have been demonstrated in a large number of experiments and applications of optics, chemistry response, fluids, electronic circuit, man-made neural network, encrypted communications and biological system. The thesis mainly applies the linear and time delayed feedback control methods to control chaos of a three-species ratio dependent food chain model and gives conditions for the existence of Hopf bifurcations. By using the normal form theory and center manifold argument, several explicit formulas determining the stability and the direction of the bifurcating periodic solutions are obtained. |
