Based On Mis And Gis Integration Kunming Tourism Geographic Information System

In order to meet the requirements of travel agencies, tourists and travel management and planning departments of Kunming, Kunming's tourism geographic information system based on the integration of MIS and GIS was developed。The system not only played MIS's good functions to manage attribute information, but also played GIS's good functions to manage, analysis and explore spatial information。It involved interface integration, application integration, integration of spatial data and attribute data, system integration (integration of multimedia, MIS and GIS) and other integration in system's development process。Among them, integration of spatial data and attribute data is not only the key but also the difficulty。In MIS, the inputing, modifying, deleting, querying and displaying to the information of tourist destination,scenic spot and area, eating and lodging and traffic were realized。In the multi-media module, users can roundly browse the introduction about the history and culture of scenic spots, Kunming and Yunnan by videos, voices, texts, pictures or maps。In GIS, the functions of spatial analysis which includes spatial query (the mutual query between attributes and location), analysis and query to buffer, overlay analysis and the shortest path analysis was realized。The tourism and traffic industry is a cross-industry between the tourism industry and traffic industry of the national economy, belong to the tertiary industry。In the development process of Kunming's geographic information system, our focus was on the relationship among tourism industry, tourism and traffic industry and traffic industry and the problem of travel traffic was solved。The main contents include the following:(1) In the design of attribute database, the scenic spots and its related service spots were linked with buses and bustation。(2) In the design of spatial database, the scenic spots and its related service spots were linked with buses and bustation。(3) In the spatial analysis to the shortest path analysis, our focus was on the traffic congestion problems of Kunming and persented the solution to the congestion at 121 Main Street and xuefu road in detail。The application of the shortest path analysis in the design of tourism routes and travel bus was introduced。Generally speaking, this system has the advantage of theory with practice, powerful spatial analysis, good compatibility, good versatility, good scalability, good portability。This system can be widely used in the tourism industry to meet the needs of the user。...
