The vapor clouds explosion could result in great loss of money and lives,so it's very important to study the power and safety of that,and simulate its explosion field. In this thesis numerical simulation and test investigations to study the explosion have been done and reported as follows:l.The theory on the vapor cloud explosion has been studied. Based on the energy equation,the term of adding energy is the bridge between the blast and the combustion process in explosion. A new understanding comes out in this angle.2. The VonNeumann-Richtmyerandthe S difference scheme have beenused,including the adding energy method,to solve the eular and N-S equations to simulate one dimensional sphere and plane explosion. The simulation can provide the field parameter of pressure,density,temperature and velocity.3 The explosion pressure parameters in the shock tube were measured by high speed multi-channels data-acquisition system. The influence of the vapor length to pressure has been studied with lengths 1m,2m,3m,4m respectively.4 Guided by self-similar theory,the further transact of the past test data has been done. The new relationship between the unitless pressure and distance is:It's of better universality.
