Because of"shear locking"phenomenon, it is impossible for thick plate elementto transfer into thin plate element in plate bending,so it is quite difficult to construct akind of definite element which can fit for both thick plates and thin plates .In thispassage, we use a new method ── a method of generalized conformingelement, build up a kind of elements for both thick and thin plates ──ABC-element. This element use a method of generalized conforming element instead of themethod of points conforming element which is used in non-conforming elementSuch can improve stiffness of element. Then, this element has an advantage of highaccuracy and good nature of astringency. Meanwhile, this passage bases on the thickbeam theory of Timoshenko, construct functions of interposing displacement field inplate and prevent from"shear locking"phenomenon. After practical computation, itwas Proved that no matter in which condition, Such as usual or unusual fringeconditions and usual or unusual loads, our ABC-element has high accuracy and goodnature of astringency and will be a new kind of useful elements in plate bending.
