Cross sections of n+ La139, Ce140,142 reactions are calculated in the energy range from 0.01 to20 Mev based on several nuclear reaction theoretical models include optical model, Hauser-Feshbach theory, exciton model, the unified Hauser-Feshbach and exciton model. Firstly, two series of neutron optical parameters are obtained accordingly. China Nuclear Data Library has already accepted these parameters. Secondly, based on the optical parameters obtained above, theoretical calculations and analyses of cross sections have been done for neutron induced nuclear reactions of La139 and Ce140,142 in the energy range from 0.01 to 20 MeV. The results show that the theoretical values are in good agreement with the experimental values, the theoretical models are successful. These calculation results have passed through the edition & evaluation and have been accepted into the Evaluation Library by CNDC, and were sent to IAEA in October in 2001 to take part in the comparisoa...
