| In chapter 1 of this thesis, I describe the basic classifications of supernovae and also present the new development of the classification during the recent years. The characteristics of light curves and spectroscopy of supernovae are presented. The latest results of observations and studies of supernovae are briefly introduced in this chapter. In chapter 2,1 briefly introduce the supernova survey system and discoveries of National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC).In chapter 3, the new system of 0.6m telescope of NAOC is presented. Its transformations to the standard UBV(RJ)c system are given. Some new light curves of supernovae with this system are presented at the last part of this chapter. In the last chapter, using the data of four Type la supernovae SN 1996by, SN 1997bp, SN 1997bq and SN 1997br, obtained with 0.6m telescope, I measure their distance with the method of Phillips proposed in 1999. I also estimate the Hubble constant with these supernovae, Ho(B)=84km/Mpc, Ho(V)=72kms/mpc. The effects related to the measurements of Hubble constant are discussed at the last part. |
