With the development of the digital photogrammetry and other correlative fields, the technology of digital Close Range Photogrammetry has matured. Utilizing the technology of digital Close Range Photogrammetry, we can get the 3D information of the object whose CRP image was obtained in 100 meters using the techniques of data acquisi tion or automatic correlation. This method has been applied extensively in many fields.Aiming at the limitation of traditional Close Range Photogrammetry, this paper firstly analyzed the actuality of Digital Close Range Photogrammetry, and then studied the technique of digital camera application and data acquisition based on the CRP stereo image, at last realized the method of 3D object modeling. The program that integrated data acquisition and 3D object modeling was proposed in order to satisfy the requirement of CRP. The main achievements of this paper are the follows:1.We made use of non-survey camera in CRP by means of examination andemendation of camera and obtained well result.2.We realized the application of Direct Linear Transformation in CRP. 3.We designed the structure of 3D modal editor according to the major ideas of OpenGL and achieved the exploitation of the modal editor using the design idea of Object Oriented programming.4.Utilizing the discrete points data of CRP objects, we firstly realized the modeling method based on TIN and modal display, and then formed the contour graphu stereo graph, profile graph, at last we obtained the result of standard data format.5.Introducing the theory of automatic correlation into data acquirement of Close Range images, we realized the semiautomatic data acquisition based on pyramid image matching.6.We realized DEM automatic generation based on original discrete points and regular control network points and formed a scheme to real time check and correction.7.Utilizing technique of three-dimensional display we realized construction of real 3D object model and stereo display based on personal computer.8.We completed an applied digital Close Range Photogrammetry system and presented the experiment result. We had achieved phase production through research and can offer well basic for digital Close Range Photogrammetry.
