Correct potential evaluation and prediction are the key to develop coalbed methane resource. Coalbed methane is an unconventional gas resource, its special storage and migration laws need a set of special evaluation and prediction methods. The research in this field is vital for the successful development of coalbed methane reservoir.Based on the study of the flowing law of coalbed methane reservoir and combining the mathematics model for the dynamic prediction of natural gas reservoir, an all-around three-dimension two-phase flowing mathematics model for the coalbed methane reservoir has been established. This model introduced the Langmuir isothermal absorption theory, the first Pick theory and the second Pick theory to consider the absorption and diffusion of coalbed methane. The relevant numerical model was written in a finite-difference form, and the first three-dimension two-phase full-implicit simulator (CBM-GW3D) was developed. The data of coalbed methane wells on the spot in LiuPanShui was used to prove the reliability of this model. This paper also presented the result of the sensitive simulation on some factors. And this result proved the reliability and validity ofthis model.
