The directly application of superconductor is great electric current with nonresistant transmition and the uniquely application is the superconducting electronics which is based on Josephson effect. Josephson junctions are the key elements of superconducting electronics and the bases of SQUID and other superconducting components, so it is very important to research the characteristics of Josephson junctions. In the thesis some numerical calculations of the equations of Josephson junctions in various conditions were done. The history and development of the superconductor were introduced briefly in Chapter One. The discovery of Josephson effect is the base of the application of superconductor in the fields of weak electricity. So Josephson effect was introduced in Chapter Two. Chapter Three focuses on the manufacture of superconducting Josephson junctions and the basic characteristics of the type manufactured Josephson junctions were studied from experiment and analyzed from theory. These DC I-V curves of Josephson junctions were observed separately. The equations of RSJ model, RCSJ model and microwave radiation of High Tc superconducting Josephson junctions were calculated in Chapter Four. Kinds of DC I-V curves of Josephson junctions were obtained by simulation. Some of these curves duplicate very well what hasbeen observed on a real Josephson junction. In Chapter Five some numerical calculations of the equations of two Josephson junctions in series arrays and in parallel arrays were done. These results show that the DC I-V curves of series arrays emerged some transition location and the Ic decreased at the same time, but the DC I-V curves of parallel arrays were similar to what the single Josephson junction's was. These DC I-V curves by numerical calculation duplicate very well the results of experiment.
