Shiyingtan gold deposit is situated in the volcanic island arc zone of northern margin of Tarimu plate in the late Paleozoic, and is located the west section of Xiaorequanzi-Dananhu the zone ore forming of Cu, Ni, Au, Sn. The condition of geological mineralization in the area is outstanding. The gold lies the northern of paleovolcanic institution. The main stratum of the mine is Arqishan formation of lower-Carboniferous series. The annular faults and radial faults of the volcanic mechanism are very development. The deposit is regional located in the place of the sudden changing of gravity-gradient zone in the direction and intensity. The area also shows high geochemical background of Au, Ag, As, Sb and Hg elements.The wall rock of the mine is the third member of Aqishan formation, which it is formed by the neutral-acidic volcanic rock and volcanic arenite of calcium-alkala series. The rock is mainly of andesite, quartz andesite, volcanic breccia agglomerate and volcanic breccia. The ore vein are mainly of stock work, sack-like work, lath-shaped and irregular-shaped. The ore body totally shows the characteristics of fan-shaped, which mode of occurrence is 18° -25° 32° -70°.The alteration of wall rock is mainly of propylitization, silicification, carbonatization, argillization and beresitization. The characteristics of alteration show the zoning and overlapping on the space. From the inner to outside of the ore vein zoning is: silicification inner core-argillization-beresitization-propylitization.The typical characteristic of the ore is low sulfide. The metallic mineral has very few content (1%-2%), The mineral of ore is mainly of pyrite, chalcopyrite, limonite, aurum and electrum etc. The gangue mineral is composed of chalcedony, micro grained quartz, calsite, sericite, adularia, aragonite, chlorite, laumontite, pyrophyuite, kaolinite and so on, which show the typical mineral assemblage of epithermal. The ore-forming material is mostly from volcanic rock, and sub volcanic rock provides the main thermal and some mineral materials. The ore-forming fluid is from meteoric water. As a result, it should be a kind of adularia-sericite type of epithermal gold deposit.Scientific metallogenic prognosis means reasonable inference based on correct analysis of metallogenesis. Basing on systemally analysising controlling-deposit and holding-deposit of Shiyingtan gold ore-bodies. Ascertaining the most favorable structure background - radical and annular fault lie in the edge of volcanic mechanism. Moreover, according collecting and analysising geochemical samples at different vertical depths of L4 ore body. Establishing primary haloes's axial direction, vertical direction and horizontal direction, concluding the normally regulate of combined characteristic and zonal characteristic in Shiyingtan gold deposit. Moreover, getting an important agrochemicals information to looking for and exploring hidden ore body in this region.Application the structure- primary haloes's geochemical synthetic prospecting methods scientifically and systematically summarizes the geology and geochemistry prospecting information that has been shown from the characteristic of Shiyingtan gold deposit, which has the theoretical significance that enrich the present prospecting model, as well as the practical significance that provides the scientific theoretical guide for prospecting gold in eastern Tianshan areas.
