With the computer's (workstation) help, adopted many methods which are the technology of balanced section, calculation of the structural movement rate, the renewal of the erosion thickness, renewal of the ancient thickness, the protraction of the cover history curve and the "pagoda" figure, and based on the previous research achievement, this article studies the characteristic of rupture and fold, the degree of structural movement and the fashion of structural movement and brings forward that Ludong area has experienced three big phases of structural evolvement. Because of the work mentioned above, a new method of renewing ancient thickness is brought forward, the method of the continuing tendency of the uneroded stratum thickness, the method of the variety rate of the reference layer thickness and the method of the ratio of the contiguous layer thickness are used to renew the erosion thickness in Ludong area for the first time and the method of fuzzy synthetic evaluation is used to prioritize the favorable places for prospecting for oil and gas.
