By studying the documents about the stability analysis of land slope and investigating two engineering illustrations, (Kafang, Gejiu and Dahongshan, Xinping), three important aspects on stability of the land slope were expounded in this thesis. The first, the main methods of analyzing the stability of the land slope, and according to the procedure of calculation and its results I proposed some improvement suggestions. The second, the influence of the hydraulic condition on the stability of land slope. It also includes three aspects: (1) Can decrease the strength of the structure surface; (2) Can increase the weight of the land slope; (3) The dynamic hydraulic pressure can decrease the stability of the land slope. The third, the analysis of the relationship between rainfall and the displacement of land slope. By means of studying on landslide Kafang, Gejiu and Dahongshan,Xinping with plenty of observed data about the rainfall and the displacement, the thesis analyzed the regularity of landslide. Dahongshan Landslide was validated and its tendency was forecasted. In the end of this thesis five conclusions were put forward: (1) Hydraulic condition can influence the stability of land slope in different aspects. (2) The weight of the land slope is the inner factors of land slope, but it's not the decisive factor of causing a landslide. (3) The parameter of anti-shearing strength (C, ) is the key parameter on analyzing the stability of land slope. (4) Analyzing the data of thedisplacement of Kafang landslide in Gejiu city , some regulations on displacement were found. (5) Forecasting the landslide before slipping is very important and possible.
