This paper is just one part of the science and technology cooperation project between Yunnan province and university/academy named The Research on Metallogenetic and Mineral Resources Predication at the Deep and Surrounding Area of Gejiu Tin Deposit, emphasizing on further prospecting issues of mineral resource in Gaosong mine field of Gejiu Tin Deposit. On the basis of the geological ore-controlling characters, mineralization laws, and mineralization series of Gejiu Tin Deposit by means of the viewpoint of multi-factors complex mineralization, such the principles as submarine volcanic activities in Indo-Chiniese Epoch, hydrothermal solution mineralization and later imposed by magmatic hydrothermal metallogeny in Yanshanian epoch, with various geophysical methods adopted such as TEM, CSAMT, EH4 and the information on structure-geochemistry, energy spectrum measurement, soil geochemical anomalies, this research project has focused on the selected three important mineralization regions of Gaosong mine field such as Daqingdong, Tuofengshan and Axizhai, and 10 anomalous zones are selected based on the research results. The target areas are determined by the mineralization predication in order to be acted as a guideline for the follow-up prospecting in the future.
