As the groundwork of numerical computation, numerical schemes and computational meshes are always concerned in numerical simulation of computational fluid mechanics (CFD). The development of CFD requires more accurate schemes and better meshes, which stimulates the improvement of schemes and meshes.In the first part of this paper, the development of computational meshes is summarized. Then the WENO (Weighted Essentially Non-oscillatory) scheme and AMR (Adaptive Mesh Refinement) are showed in detail. In the final, the ideas of WENO scheme and AMR become corporeal by personal code which is examined in some classical examples. Satisfying results are achieved in numerical simulation. |
