The Minshan Priority For The Landscape Pattern, Function Evaluation, And Landscape Management Study

Within the scope of ecology, the landscape is a certain space which is constituted by different ecological system and has the duplicative heterogeneity region unit. Landscape pattern is refers to the allocations landscape patch in space, and it also refers to the concrete performance of landscape heterogeneity. At the same time, it also concludes the results that comprise all kinds of ecological process at the different dimensions functions. The analysis of the landscape function is based on the ecosystem system service function classification system of the ecosystem dimension. Putting forward landscape management have different comprehension, this thesis with Minshan landscape regards priority areas as research object, analyzing landscape patterns and functions in these districts .According to certain landscape management target, put forward homologous landscape management strategy and very much new comprehension to landscape management in reach.The Minshan area of Sichuan and Gansu province, located in the Upper Yangtze (FUY) eco-region, covers 33,000 km2 of high mountains and temperate forests. This area is listed as one of the 25 global key eco-regions by WWF for its great values in biological conservation in the world. This area is the home for half of the world's giant panda population, more than 2000 species of high plants, more than 200 birds, and more than 60 mammals, among them including widely distributed China's epidemic plant species as Larix mastersiana, Cupressus chengiana, and epidemic and endangered mammal species as Rhnopithecus roxellanae, Cervus albirostris, and Budorcas taxicolor. WWF and its partners are piloting a landscape approach to forest conservation that combines biodiversity protection with other aspects of sustainable development and gives all affected people a chance to participate in land use decisions. The goal is that to increase the extent and quality of the forest habitats in the northern Minshan landscape for the benefit of key forest species, in particular the giant panda, while enhancing the livelihood of local communities, by 2011. Five priority areas have been identified during the first-phase preparations.In Minshan area of the big scope many small regions were selected for analysis, evaluation of landscape pattern and landscape function. According to the landscape patch distributing and function, and according to landscape managing target, probeinto feasible approaches and methods in priority areas to realize the beneficial trial with the combination of the best performance in social economic and ecology in Minshan.This thesis introduces the landscape pattern, landscape function and landscape management in the domestic and international research current condition, clarifying the meaning of this thesis. Then explained the some basic conditions of the Minshan area, especially each priority area; The third part is the analysis and elucidation of the landscape pattern in each priority area; The fourth part is the analysis and elucidation of the landscape function in each priority area; The fifth part sum up the analysis of landscape pattern and landscape function ,and put forward to the new comprehension of the landscape management, and discuss the countermeasure of landscape management with this standpoint; Last part is summed up the full text simply.
