In this paper, the stability and periodic solution of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks and olfactory cortex neural networks are studied, a set of sufficient criteria are given by applying the theory of Brouwer degree and the principle of compressed mapping and contributing Lyapunov function. Some examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the new results. The paper includes three parts. In the first part, the global exponential stability and periodic solution of the shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with fixed delay and the global asymptotical stability of the shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with variant delay are studied; In second part, the global robust stability of the shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks is studied; In third part, the global exponential stability and periodic solution of olfactory cortex neural networks are studied. |
