The study of improved arithmetic of Kalman Filter on how to improve the positional precision with Global position system ,we studied in this paper ,is one of the component of the study of inexpensive magneto resistive sensor and Global position system combination in navigation.In this paper,First ,we introduced the evolution of the Global position system and the basic knowledge used in navigation detailedly.Second ,we developed an applied receive system based on a kind of GPS OEM, so it can receive the satellitic signal of GPS and communicate with computer via serial port, and wrote the receive programme according to the protocol of the output information.Finally, we put forward a kind of improved arithmetic of Kalman Filter after we got the data that we received from the GPS receiver and analyzed all kinds of errors in the data.we also made the model of Kalman Filter and analyzed the result.
