This thesis has applied the analysis method of Engineering Geology and Rock Mechanics, discussed rock mass slope stability in details. It has analyzed systematically the factor which affects rock mass slopes, analyzed the mechanism and failure model which rock mass slopes with weak intercalations has affected. Based on it, the paper concludes the theory and method of rock mass slopes and their stability with weak intercalations. Considering that water has affected rock mass slopes, the author improved the former movable mechanism method, and applied to the design practice of rock mass slopes on Chang-zhang Highway. The paper studies the rock mass slopes with weak intercalations which located in the Seventeenth Contract Mountain Kl 37+700-Kl 38+200 between the highway of Changde and Zhang Jiajie, researches its characters, strength, and the determination of geotechnical parameters, calculated safe cohesion with the improved movable mechanism method. The energy coefficient of Landslide 2 is 1.004 when considering the affection of water. For this part of the highway is very important, the rock mass slopes with weak intercalations must be treated to sustain their stability. The paper has also analyzed the dealing mechanism of surplus-cleaning and anchor cables, analyzed the reinforcing mechanism of prestressed cables and its mechanical property. Then, the performance of prestressed anchorage is also discussed, and finally, the factors affecting prestressed anchors are put forward in this paper.
