This paper studied kinematic survey properties of TCA/TCRA and applying Total Station Instrument in FAST project , and the main works are as follows:On 500m distance, we studied affection on distance precision of meteorological elements and meteorological correction precision .We also analysed variation law of angle and distance and obtained positioning precision of RTRK,Then the precision will be valid for FAST feeding cabin measurement. We tested postioning error of 360?prism ;On top of GcoBASIC language and programmed On-Board Software for dynamic measurement; We have quantitative analysis for measurement time and average sampling frequency is 8HZ; We analysed tracking direction effect for positioning precision; Dynamic noise affects positioning precision; We discussed process and method for calculating measurement data, such as blunder detection, filtering, curve fitting and spline interpolation, and we get veracious track ;ln FAST 50m model ,\vc studied the principle for Stewart platform secondary adjustment and feeding platform.Kinematic survey On-board Software for Total Station Instrument was applied successfully for FAST project .Total Station Instrument survey technology can achieve precision requirement and offered feasibility analysis for applying TCA/TCRA lor measuring FAST dynamic feeding platform.
