This paper presents a procedure for estimating the x-ray spectrum of industrial CT system. The study of x-ray spectrum will lead to the development of beam hardening correction algorithms.We have constructed wedge-phantoms utilizing some metals such as iron and copper and constructed the model of studying the x-ray spectrum. Then, we have designed the algorithm mainly using Newton method to overcome ill condition in the model. We have built some test data to evaluate the effect of the algorithm and achieved very ideal result. |
