With the accelerative growth of high-performance computers, computational electromagnetics made and is still making substantial progress. Among all the methods, the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method attracts more and more attention because of its features. In this thesis, firstly, we summarize the merits of the algorithm and show its feasibility for general electromagnetic simulation. Still we make a rough comparison and analysis of the popular FDTD softwares and show the meaning of this thesis. Secondly, we present the principle of the algorithm, including the difference format, the stability condition, the absorbing boundary condition (ABC) and the exciting source. In order to make the users know more about the whole process and the logic of the software, we describe auto dissection of entity with grid for FDTD electromagnetic simulation, the design of interface,extracting electromagnetic parameters, and the design of the whole software in Chapter 3. In addition, as an integrant part of the general software, user manual of the software is stated in Chapter 4. Then in Chapter 5 we choose some examples to test the validity of the software, analyze the results and give some advice for future work. Finally, the whole work of this thesis is concluded.
